Gizmodo made a call last week to boycott the RIAA in March and not buy anything from an RIAA-affiliated label. This is in response to the RIAA’s ridiculous recent lawsuits and infingements on people’s privacy and free speech. I think it’s about time a big website spurred this call to action. The music industry is a dinosaur and refuses to adapt intelligently. According to Gizmodo: “Am I saying you should start pirating music? Not at all…” Of course, we all know what that translates to for many end users. Support Bittorent and Emule, woohooooooo! Hahahahaha! Anyway, it’s sad that the only political voice music fans have is their money since everything else doesn’t affect either the corporate monsters or the policy makers on this matter. At the end of the day, though, I don’t give a rat’s ass. I’m like Johnny Depp of the Carribean on that information superhighway, ese! Leave a Reply |
