Sirius TV is coming to your backseats in 2008! The satellite entertainment company announced they have struck deals with Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge to make their backseat television service available in the companies’ 2008 model cars. The programming will be all children-oriented shows and will launch with Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network.

Now your kids can continue being television drones even while in your car!!!! Fantastic!

The SIRIUS Backseat TVâ„¢ operates via an in-vehicle satellite video receiver and two small roof-mounted antennas. They can be used both as a TV or as a satellite radio if the kids fall asleep and you want to listen to some sweet tunes.

RUSH has a new album called “Snakes & Arrows” set for release May 1. The album’s first single already debuted at No. 29 on the Mainstream Rock Chart. And they’re going on tour. And I used to love their old albums. For some reason, though, I don’t care. I really don’t.

A hunger strike is a non-violent show of defiance where the protestor voluntarily abstains from food (and in some extreme cases) liquds too. Throughout history, notable people have used hunger strikes to blaze the path of change like Gandhi, Sami Al-Arian , Akbar Ganji and many political prisoners.

This year, another martyr joins their ranks. This poor hungry woman is staging a hunger strike until Sanjaya Malakar is voted off of American Idol.

It’s getting to a point where I don’t know if I can continue on like this anymore, my parents are starting to get concerned. i am going to try my best to make it until Wednesday night though. We’ll see.
